As a URAC-accredited Independent Review Organization (IRO), Clinix Healthcare is certified by individual states to conduct independent reviews that provide a fair and impartial medical necessity determination for patients’ healthcare services.
This independent review process is available if state law requires your health plan to participate, or your plan voluntarily participates. Clinix has earned full accreditation for an External Review Organization from the American Accreditation Healthcare Commission/URAC.
Clinix procures qualified physicians to perform Independent Medical Exams when needed and evaluates their findings.
